Please introduce your name, who you are, which country are you staying in and your area of Internet Marketing (IM) expertise
My name is Khai Ng. I’m the founder of Inspiration DNA – the largest personal development PLR brand on the Internet. My company has created hundreds of E-books, audio, videos, marketing materials and coaching programs for over a thousand customers over the last 15 months. I currently reside in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia with my wife.
Share with us your first success in Internet Marketing and how did you do that
Back at the end of 2006, I had jumped from virtually every business opportunity and network marketing opportunity under the sun with nothing to show for it. After meeting the PLR guru – Edmund Loh whom I regard as a mentor and a great personal friend, he taught me the basics in Internet marketing and offered me a what I would call (at that time) “a joint venture deal of a life time”.
I had a lot of knowledge regarding network marketing systems so I wrote 3 books about it even though I had no prior experience when it comes to writing. Edmund and I sold the books I’ve written on the Internet and in 24 hours, we made $1,890! Bear in mind… $1,890 is a lot of money in Malaysia and it is worth about a 4 months’ worth of a fresh graduate’s salary!
We’ve known you as a multi level marketer as well.. why did you jump into internet marketing and what
make you interested in internet marketing especialy copywriter? At that time, you can say that the term – ‘beggars can’t be choosers’ applied to me in a big way. I was drowning in debt and desperate for the right opportunity. Even though I’ve failed many times in my business opportunities, I knew that I must never give up and I must be open minded, willing to invest and learn new skills if I wanted to succeed.
Simply because my ‘first launch’ made money, I kept on working hard at it while developing new skills in the process. I learned everything I can about ghostwriting, copywriting, blogging and many more skills.
I started out writing for others, and then I started writing for my own products. Now I have built a team of product creators and we produce dozens of products every month. Copywriting proved to be the most profitable skill of all because that skill alone (writing copy to sell my own products) has helped me to generate 6 figures over the last 12 months through Inspiration DNA alone.
I guess that it doesn’t matter how many times you fail because as long as you’re willing to develop yourself and never give up, all you need to do is succeed only ONCE. What are the top 3 things that someone should know in order to be a success in Copywriter?
Always focus on the customer. Ask yourself, “what do they want?” When writing copy, make sure your unique selling position is very clear when explaining the CONCEPT. If your concept is not compelling, no one will buy your product no matter how good your copy is. Lastly, always try to write the best headline in the shortest, most precise manner. Most people will not read the rest of the copy if the headline does not catch their attention.
What are some of the common problems that people experience in copywriting
Most people make this common mistake. They focus on the features of the product but rather the benefits the customer will perceive. Because they do not split test their copy, there are shooting in the dark. Practice makes perfect – the more sales letters you write, the easier it gets.

Please kindly give your advice for a newbies or people that would like to jump up into internet marketing what should they prepare or what kind of technique should they have or all kind of preparation should they have done before.
The single most important preparation is to develop a strong mindset – be willing to invest time and money in Internet marketing. People are under the illusion that they do not need to invest any money and expect everything for free. That is a false thinking that will cripple your Internet marketing learning process. Also, be willing to invest in PLR. I’ve used a lot of PLR when I first started out because I lacked the skills. PLR like http://inspirationdna.com helps to shorten the process tremendously because it would cost a lot of money to hire a copywriter or ghostwriter.

Hey….just a quick tip…perhaps add some Comment Luv to your new blog.
Hi Brandon thank you for stooping by! Thank you very much for your advice!
Hello Asif thanks man! look forward for your next comment.
emm..nice copypwriting tips. Need to word hard with copy writing.
One of the greatest marketing concepts I’ve ever had land on my lap started with Jay Abraham and has continued with Eben Pagan and it says…
Educate your market as to why they should do business with you over anyone else… and do so leading with the “Give” hand rather than the “Get” hand.
If you look at the majority of advertising or marketing, at first glance you get the “This person is trying to get something from me” vibe instead of “This person is trying to give something to me” vibe.
One of the easiest places you’ll be able to identify with this is in magazines.
When you buy a magazine, you buy it for the content promised in the articles inside… not for the ads. So when you’re going through it, your mind is sifting and sorting according to what’s junk and what’s gold.
This means that your ad in that magazine should not look or sound like an ad. It should look like content and if you can help it, make sure it’s 50% content/50% selling and if you can REALLY help it, don’t try to sell a product but try to get a lead and do this by using your entire ad to give content and sell the idea of giving them MORE free content when they tell you where to send it.
This process allows you to build a relationship with the prospect which lets them feel like they can trust you with their money.
Yes I agree with you, thanks for your tips and your comment! really appriciated
